The Widows Orphans Deserted Children Association [WODCA] Inc. was born out of the desire to give a voice to the thousands of disadvantaged women and children silently suffering at the hands of their offending, often violent and abusive husbands, fathers, brothers or sons. The Association [WODCA] is the brainchild Cathy Tom who was thrown of her house and marriage life by her husband because of her social activism WODCA was registered as an Association by the Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) under the Incorporation of Associations Act on February 20, 2005. Currently there are over 400 financial members of the Association who are receiving some form of support from the organization although we are very limited by financial capacity in terms of our ability to help them.
